Update: Sloth

Hello. My name is Seth and I am a writer. I have written one book and a slew of short stories. I am currently working on my second book.

This book is not as easy to write as my first. My first book wasn’t easy but it was more intuitive. This story is not a sequel but instead an idea I have had for almost as long as the idea that would become my first book. This would be a lot easier to talk about if I told you what it is called. However, I do want to keep some things close to my chest for now. This means I need to come up with a good project title.

Project titles are code names that projects exist under until it is ready to be announced. My favorite titles come from Bungie (no surprise there). Halo: Combat Evolved was called “Blam!” while in development. Destiny was referred to as “Tiger.” There seems to be a pattern of “does not need to relate to the final product at all,” and that makes sense. If the name was too close people could guess what it might be about. That means my name will need to have nothing in common with the product I am working on…

So it brings me great joy to say that I am currently working on a sci-fi novel with the project title Sloth. Sloths, while cute, are very slow. Just like this project.
