Hey!

Been like a week. How have you been? Don’t answer that. I mean you can, I just won’t hear you.

This is where I keep interested parties up to date on my journey to becoming a published author.

I have committed to updating my website once a week but if you have been paying attention you might notice I have not been the best at that. I have recently realized that this weekly update schedule is self imposed. Something about that realization has brought me great peace.

Trying to keep up with that schedule was a little tiring. Especially when I had little to nothing to report. So far I still plan on updating once a week, but now, I don’t feel too bad about missing one. Or two. Or more.

With that out of the way…

I have nothing to report. 😊

That doesn’t mean I have neglected my writing. I have put forth major effort to keep up that habit. It feels great to continue to solve the puzzle that is Sloth while honing my passion. The thing is; I don’t have much to say about Sloth without revealing way too much. What I can say at this point is I have made some important breakthroughs with some tricky characters.

I might have mentioned it before but Sloth is an idea I had as a nerdy high schooler and all it had back then was a neat little mash up that pleased me and a handful of cool scenes. Doing anything with this decade old idea has proved… unruly. I feel like a better writer with all the knowledge I have gained and the breakthroughs I have discovered. It feels great to realize abstract concepts into actual plot and characters! And it has been difficult. And hopefully rewarding.

That is my update: Sloth is moving.
